Hey there – David from BetterCloud here. Hope you've been well.

IT is going through a period of reinvention, and it was happening before every workforce on the planet became distributed.

Remote work simply accelerated the runaway train of SaaS adoption. This year, on average, organizations use 110 SaaS apps. That’s nearly a 7x increase in SaaS app usage since 2017, and almost a 14x increase since 2015. We’ve reached the point where managing SaaS sprawl is simply not possible without centralized and automated SaaS operations.

Over the last year I’ve seen IT respond to this changing landscape by becoming more strategic in how they use SaaS to impact their business. Companies who correctly leverage SaaS are outperforming their competitors in employee experience, security, and efficiency.

Simply put, the skills needed to be successful in IT have changed. IT is no longer a team that just keeps the lights on—IT is a change agent and a partner to the business. There is a massive opportunity right now to become more strategic and change your career.

For that reason, I’d like to extend a personal invite to Altitude, our annual virtual conference which starts on November 2nd. You can build your agenda from a full week of content, but if you can make it to only one session, I’d recommend my "Reinvention of IT" keynote on Tuesday morning. Earlier this year I spoke with 100 IT leaders in 100 days—in my keynote I'll share the top three priorities I heard from every one of them. There will also be a product announcement that you won’t want to miss. Here's a link to the full agenda for your convenience, and here's where you can register for free.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly with questions.

Best,
David
