The recording, the dance practice, the rehearsal. We release tons of sweat and grunts every single time just to satisfy ourselves and our fans. It sounds tiring, isn't it? For a newcomer in this field, I strongly believe that you'll need a huge passion to continue your journey as a performer or an idol. I had that passion while working for my dream. The real performance and the fans aren't all. There's a lot more behind the camera that every performer has to deal with. Training after training. The only rest you can do is after promotion. I mean, the real rest. However, isn't it so satisfying to hear those cheers? Seeing those awed faces? Those are therapy for me. I worked really hard in order to present an outstanding performance for the show. Ideas were flooding my head since I haven't had an opportunity to perform for the past five months. It's good, actually. Sharing the ideas with the newly met back-up dances and perfecting the moves. I never expected that I could think of many ideas while preparing. Because of that, the preparation went on smoothly. Not to mention that those who will be dancing with me are also great dancers. They picked up the choreography really fast, so it was easy for us to get going on polishing what needed to be polished. Not long after, we just found ourselves wrapping up. Finished! I also extract creativity from my brain. In order to express the meaning and emotions, props are a must for this performance. I still haven't figured out what my real props will be in the performance, but I used a mattress as my practice prop. The mattress was so soft and it was easy to use. I had three chairs, too. Two for the dancers and one for me to use. Thanks to these props, I received positive reactions. ㅤ ㅤ Since the pandemic changed our setting, I was feeling nervous. A performance is very different from a dance battle. They all have high hopes and eyes on me, and this isn't a freestyle that you can easily cover up with new good moves. This is a structured performance. One mess and I'm done. Before, YangYang said that performing in front of a live audience scared him out. They performed Universe (Let's Play Ball) for the first time, and he was so nervous. Now I understand why. But there's no turning back now. I just pushed myself to perform at my best by warming up. At least I can calm down and get warmed up at the same time. The whole Birthday performance was already posted on YouTube. Check it out there.
