We come together like this a few times a year because we all recognize how important the work we’re doing is, and how much it matters to the world, especially right now.
Because we’re at a crossroads…
A Galileo Moment, as I have called it.
Where we can keep stumbling down the same path, making the same mistakes and careening into the same problems individually, nationally and globally…
Or we can change direction and see each other for what we are, interconnected parts of a whole that rely on each other to survive.
Because when we see each other in this way, when we recognize ourselves in each other and in every living thing on this planet…
We will do much more than survive. We will grow and flourish together.
It is time to listen to the wisdom that has been shared by leaders in spirituality and science down through the ages, and that is now being confirmed by modern scientific research
It is time to take a different view of how we treat each other and the planet we live on.
Individually, we can’t change the course of history overnight.
Neither did Galileo. But over time, more and more people saw that his Heliocentric view of the universe was right.
Just as over time, the more people who live into the truth that all life is interconnected, interrelated and interdependent will change our reality from one of separateness, conflict, and lack, to one of harmony, peace, and flourishing for all.
By coming together to acknowledge this truth and support each other in sharing it, we each contribute to making this truth our collective reality.
