Pleasanton Mayor Karla Brown seems to have dissed both prior City Council members and former senior staff. Commenting after the council reviewed two financial reports in December, she said, "The city of Pleasanton used to be a sleepy little town ... And things were done very casually about finance and reserves. We're a real city, we're almost 80,000 people ... and that means better planning. It means being more conservative." That implies that folks who used to be in charge were lax in those areas. I doubt it.

VA Mobile Outreach

Neil Phanse Earns Eagle Scout Award
Neil Phanse has qualified to become an Eagle Scout and will receive the award at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor to be scheduled soon. Neil is the son of Satyajit Phanse and Geetika Jain Phanse of Pleasanton, Ca. He is a member of Troop 948, sponsored by the Graceway Church. Thanks go to his Scoutmaster, Satyajit Phanse (his dad) for his dedication to scouting and help along the way.
