Independent Consultant, Swiss American, IE IMBA
Jacob grew up on a farm in Oregon City, California. He had a bit of a curious mind and an avid interest in the domains of clean technology and energy. This ended up taking him to a lot of places. Jacob feels his world is and has always been 'diverse' and 'big'. He has lived and worked in six different countries in research, policies and consulting in the energy sector. The International MBA at IE, according to him, complemented his background with a deep dive into business principles while allowing him to leverage his entrepreneurial instincts and continue developing the mindset needed to identify opportunities, build teams, and execute strategies to effect change at the nexus of technology, sustainability and business.

Director-IMPACT HUB, Mexican, IE IMBA
Today Araceli is the Director of Impact Hub, Mexico. Impact Hub helps develop and fund seed stage ventures. She also helped consolidate the Impact Hub. About her life there, she says 'I've the opportunity to touch the lives of people in a significant way. It all seems so unbelievable at times '. Prior to joining the Impact Hub D.F. as Managing Director, Araceli worked for several years fostering social entrepreneurship and impact investing sectors in Latin America as head of Communication and PR at New Ventures Group. During this time she headed several initiatives related with developing impact entrepreneurs in the region, such as the Latin American Impact Investing Forum (FLII), The Green Pitch and Generación Impacto. She worked as Marketing Manager for Las Páginas Verdes, a social startup that promotes sustainable consumption and co-created EcoFest, the biggest green event in the continent that currently gathers over 150,000 people per event in Mexico City. In 2008, Araceli received with honors her BA in Marketing and then did the IMBA at the IE Business School in Madrid.
