Hi,

I need help with this. I am getting an error and don’t understand why.

Here is the question
"This is an extension of question #2. Given an array of objects, write a function admin that returns the name and birthdate of all users that are marked as “admin”. "

Robert Price

What I have on my local Windows 10 computer:

Git, GitHub and VS Code.

Currently, I am able to login to BlueHost and go to file manager and upload one at a time, my html and css files to my public_html folder. However, I am making tons of changes constantly as I am playing around with the Responsive Web Design lessons and projects.

Any Resources to Become Better at HTML and CSS

Smellbringer
Wade Rehmke

Smellbringer

I just finished the HTML and CSS course and I’m not here to ask what my next move is because it’s obviously Javascript. But as I learn Java I want to improve with HTML and CSS because I know I could have done those FCC projects better. So I want to know what the best resources for HTML and CSS are and where I can find ways to challenge myself to become better at coding. All I know so far are Codepen and W3Schools.

Hi, @X-hibit,

I understand your pain. I went through this as well. I thought that I won’t make it as it took me about a year to learn it.

Whether or not learning to code is a good path for you depends on your interests, preferences, and goals. There is nothing in your post that disqualifies you from becoming a programmer.

YES, you can learn this.

Free Code Camp is a great way to get started; the early lessons in the curriculum are small and straightforward. You can do them without a big investment of time.

Here is what I did in the first 6 months

  • Took two classes on html and css. Built a few class projects

  • Completed the first two FCC certifications

  • Went through weeks 1-8 of CS50 (intro to computer science class). Now I need to come up with an idea for the final project.

  • Started my first solo project outside of a class. (Multi page website using html, css and javascript)

  • Finished Colt Steele’s Algorithms class

  • Finishing up the Front end certification lessons.

That just isn’t the right approach to take if you ask me.

Unless you have mistakingly and unknowingly picked some super exotic language as your first starter language switching languages that soon isn’t going to help you learn to program.
