Welcome to my first June newsletter!
How is June going for you? What are your summer plans? Share a highlight or a struggle you have.
My highlight: I am starting a course in Trauma-Informed Care and Couching at Light University and I am very excited. This course will equip me to confidently support those impacted by trauma. I am eager to learn how to recognize and respond to trauma and how to guide people toward post-traumatic growth. I am convinced this enable me to serve you better! Please pray for me to complete successfully the course.

Why and How We Can Find Safety in God
Is there a person or a thing that makes you
afraid right now in your life? We all know the feeling when someone or
something intimidates us. Then we feel threatened, burdened, and not
safe. We have knots in our stomachs, our hands sweat when we think about
what scares us, and sometimes this thing occupies our thoughts all day
and all night long, stealing our sleep and peace.
The source of fear can be a person we
don’t feel safe around–someone who tries to control or manipulate us, or
someone we know we can’t trust. This can be a situation in our family, a
disease, a challenge at work, or a conflict with a co-worker or a
friend. Whatever it is, we don’t feel safe.
